Calvin Keys is an American jazz guitarist performer who mentors young talent, offers private lessons, and is a frequent teacher at Jazz Camp West.

Calvin Keys has performed and recorded with Ray Charles, Ahmad Jamal, John Handy, Bobby Hutcherson, Eddie Marshall, Sonny Stitt, Pharoah Sanders, and Joe Henderson.

Calvin Keys Receives Legacy Jazz Award

The Buddy Montgomery Jazz Legacy Project was created to promote jazz as a musical art form and acknowledge those who represent this unique style of music. The Buddy Montgomery Jazz Legacy Awards are an annual awards event to recognize jazz artists for their musical contribution to the genre and for earning their place in the legacy of jazz music. Calvin Keys was a proud recipient of the 2018 Jazz Virtuoso Award.
